This series is memorable for several reasons but mostly for the art direction given to me by D J Stout, who I knew socially. During our brief phone conversation he asked if the email he’d sent made sense (Yes) and then said “Great.” And that seemed to be the end of the conversation.I asked if he had any input re: art direction and he answered, “Have fun.” I pressed him again and asked if he had anything further.
