Pacifico wanted to make 18 custom painted VW Vans and I was lucky enough to be selected for one. My theme was surfing. Here I am trying to catch some waves.

This was my first version but I felt it looked too cartoonie.

 

Here’s where I went next. They let me have a lot of fun with the tattoos.

Here’s the driver side sketch. They ended up not liking the front guy and wanted him facing the other way and a bit bulkier.
